The Shamanic Studies Center
performs it´s ceremonies, meetings and workshops at the Aldeia do Sol (Village
of the Sun), a delightful adapted farm in a quiet valley located in
Sacra Familia County, Rio de Janeiro State countryside, about 2h from
Rio de Janeiro city.
The place is surrounded by a wild forest ring, with a beautyful and
diversified fauna and flora with accomodations at the main and secundary
houses, plus a Sweat Lodge and Medicine Wheel spot, a gathering Wood
Long House, lodging Tipis and a Ceremony Tipi, besides a nice lake for
swiming.
The soujorn includes sleeping accomodation and all meals (breakfast,
lunch and supper) of housemade food (vegetarian and regular), which type
follows the demand of whatever event going on at the occasion.
" Aldeia do Sol" belongs to two beloved caretakers, Bull and Bill,
enviromentalists farmers, horsemen and gifted country rock composers and
musicians.
